Figuring out an organization's total budget for a video surveillance system requires taking into account many different elements: hardware (cameras, wiring, storage equipment), software (including analytics), system installation and integration, staff training, etc.

In this section, MetroVideoMonitor will provide rules of thumb to calculate budgets, based on the experience of successful implementations. MetroVideoMonitor will shortly release a survey calling for agencies to provide information  as they see fit related to this topic.
